Fall in Northern Virginia is a great time for a variety of festivals and this weekend does not disappoint. Here is a look at some of the various festivals and other activities that are happening throughout the area. If you’re still looking for something to do, check out our Fall Fun post for a list of ongoing Fall Festivals and orchards. 

Fridays at the Fountain is Crystal City’s seasonal pop-up beer garden that features live music from local bands and musicians. Admission is free, and food and drink are available for purchase. Fridays at the Fountain are every Friday from 5-9 pm at the Crystal City Water Park. This week’s performer is The Perfectionist.

If you like tanks and military history, The Americans in Wartime Museum is having an Open House this Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm, both days, at the Tank Farm in Nokesville. See tanks and armored vehicles from past decades, watch flame thrower demonstrations, living history demonstrations, and more. Food trucks will available on-site for food purchases.

The Stonebridge Town Center Chili Cook-Off and Fall Festival was originally scheduled for last weekend but is now happening this Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm in Woodbridge. Enjoy chili tastings, live entertainment, various exhibitors, and more.

The Reston Multicultural Festival is Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm at the Reston Community Center. This event features music, dress, entertainment, and food from around the world.  Families can enjoy arts and crafts, a global market, and more. This is a free event.

Clarendon Day is this Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm in Arlington. This popular street festival features two stages for live performances, arts and crafts, a kid’s zone, craft beer, Virginia wines, lots of food choices, and more. Admission is free.

The 2nd Annual Brentsville Day is this Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm at the Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre in Bristow. Listen to live Bluegrass music while viewing farm demonstrations, taking hay rides, and experiencing living history. Food trucks will be on site for food purchases. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.

The Manassas Latino Festival is Sunday from 12 pm to 5:30 pm in Old Town Manassas. Enjoy live music, dancing, kid’s activities, food, and more. This is a free event.

NatureFest 2018 is this Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm at Runnymede Park in Herndon. Meet and learn about a variety of animals while doing crafts, games, and more.
