• Amelia Earhart: Pioneering Feminist  - Udvar-Hazy Center, Chantilly, VA, 8pm – 9pm. This Amelia Earhart Lecture in Aviation History will explore Amelia Earhart’s legacy from leading feminist biographer Susan Ware. FREE, but registration is required.

Tuesday 5/17/22

• Acoustic Tuesday with Shane Gamble – Harris Pavilion, Manassas, VA, 7pm – 8pm. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a FREE outdoor concert.

Friday 5/20/22

• Friday Night Live  - Town Green, Herndon, VA 6:30pm – 10pm. A FREE outdoor concert featuring Doc Marten and the Flannels, 90’s grunge, rock.

Saturday 5/21/22

• Medical Missionaries 25^th Anniversary – Harris Pavilion, Manassas, VA, 10am – 3pm. enjoy live music and learn about all the people and places Medical Missionaries has been able to assist in the last 25 years of service. FREE.
• Liberia Basement to Attic Tour – Liberia House, Manassas, VA, 2pm – 3pm. Tour the historic house where it’s rumored that President Lincoln may have eaten ice cream on the porch and see where soldiers left their marks on the walls. Registration required. $15/adults, $5/ under 16.

Sunday 5/22/22

• Festival of Speed & Style – Old Town Alexandria, 10am – 3pm. View dozens of rare and exotic cars up close, made famous by their speed, performance, and elegance. This will be enhanced by a presentation of style, fashion and live music provided by over 40 local merchants. FREE.

• 5/20 - 5/22 Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival – Reston Town Center, Reston, VA, 11am -6pm. Now called the Tephra ICA Festival, this festival has been around for 31 years and features over 200 artist and their unique handmade wares. In addition, there will be performances and other special events making this a truly memorable activity.
• 5/20 – 5/30 The Jurassic Encounter – Bull Run Special Events Center, Centreville, VA, visit website for hours. Friday, 5/20, is opening day for this unique event.  Walk through a display of over 45 life size animatronics and static dinosaurs plus bounce houses, games and more. Tickets start at $25 and it’s recommended that you purchase online in advance.
