Friday is Car Free Day in Manassas. Stop by the pop-up park on West Street from 12 to 8 pm for giveaways and information on alternative transportation.

Spend your Friday evening at Crystal City’s Friday at the Fountain. This free event runs from 5 to 9pm and features a free concert and outdoor cash bar. Sin Miedo Salsa Orchestra will be performing at this week’s concert.

The Annual Occoquan Arts and Crafts Show runs Saturday and Sunday starting at 10am on both days. A wide range of artisans will display their wares in Historic Occoquan.

The Lovettsville Oktoberfest is this weekend with Saturday being the time to go for a full Oktoberfest experience. Admission is free.

Clarendon Day is Saturday from 11am to 6pm in Arlington. This free event is one of Arlington’s most popular street festivals and features live entertainment, arts and crafts, a large kid’s activity area, craft beer, Virginia wines, and much more.

The 76th Annual Historic Alexandria Homes Tour is Saturday from 10am to 3pm. This is a great opportunity to tour eight historical homes in Old Town Alexandria. Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 the day of the tour.

The 22nd Annual CCE Irish Folk Festival is Saturday from 12 to 7:30pm in Fairfax. There will be Irish music and dance performances, vendors, and Gaelic sports. Admission is $10 per person, with a maximum admission charge of $20 per family.

Brew Republic Bierwerks’s Munich Beer Fest is Saturday from 11am to 5pm at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge. There will be German food, music and more. Tickets are $29.99 for beer or wine tickets and $5 for kid’s admission. Tickets must be purchased in advance online.

The Third Annual Loudon International Festival is Sunday at the Douglass Community Center in Leesburg. The festival runs from 11am to 5pm and features live entertainment, international demonstrations, kid’s activities, international food, vendors, and much more. Admission for ages 13 and up is $5 at the gate, 12 and under are free.

NatureFest is Sunday from 1 to 5pm at Runnymede Park in Herndon. There will be nature stations throughout the park, live animal shows, arts and crafts, and more. This is a free event.

If you’re a classical music fan, The Workhouse Arts Center presents Mannheim Rocket: Mozart Meets Beethoven Sunday evening from 4 to 6pm. Tickets for this authentic 18th century music performance are $30 and can be purchased in advance online.
