Here’s a look at what’s happening in our area this weekend. This is the last weekend that many of the local Fall Festivals will be open, so go check one out if you haven’t gone yet.
The first ever Rosslyn Harvest Fest is Friday from 4 to 10 pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. There will be live entertainment, kid’s activities, a beer garden, arts and crafts, and much more. This is a free event.
The annual Annandale Parade is Saturday from 10am to noon along Columbia Pike.
The Spirits of Manassas ghost tour is happening at the Manassas Museum Saturday from 7 to 8pm. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased at the online store.
Ben Lomond is holding a Hospital of Horrors tour where you can hear stories from when the building served as a Confederate Field Hospital after the Battle of First Manassas. Guided tours will run every 20 minutes from 7 to 10pm. The cost is $10 per person and reservations are recommended.
There will be a Historic Cemeteries of Brentsville Walking Tour at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm on Saturday. Tours cost $5 and will be guided by a local historian.
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is having a Halloween Party Saturday from 12 to 2pm. There will be games, a reptile show, and a puppet show. Admission and parking are free.
The 2nd Annual Love to Yeu Family Fun Day Carnival is Saturday from 1 to 4pm at Lake Fairfax Park in Reston. General Admission is $10.
There’s lots of spooky fun at Carlyle House in Alexandria. Discover if you’re prepared to survive the zombie apocalypse at their Zombie Escape that runs from 6:30 to 10pm. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased online. Storytellers will be telling Ghostly Tales from 7 to 10pm on the front lawn for $5 per person.
