Northern Virginia Weekend Events – November 2

Happy November! Here’s a look at what’s happening throughout the area this weekend.

The Art League’s Annual Art on Tap is Friday from 7 to 10 pm. Enjoy local craft beer, food, and original artwork. This event is for 21 and older. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased online.

The 10th Annual Northern Virginia Veterans Parade is Saturday starting at 11 am in Old Town Manassas.

The Fall Gallery Walk is this Saturday from 6 to 9 pm in Historic Downtown Manassas. Artwork by local artists will be displayed by various merchants.

Spend the day at scenic River Farm looking at classic cars this Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm at the Classic Car Show at River Farm. Spectator tickets are $10 per car (personal cars not intended for showing).

It’s Horses and Hounds at George Washington’s Mt. Vernon Estate this Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. Watch a simulated fox hunt (no foxes will be hurt), witness cavalry demonstrations, and more. The cost is included in admission to the estate.

There’s a Block Party this Saturday from 11 am to 4pm in the Uptown area of Old Town Alexandria. Over 25 shops will be participating with discounts and givaways. There will be family-friendly activities, a moonbounce, live entertainment, face painting, and more.

The 4th Annual Virginia Tech Maker Festival will take place on Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Virginia Tech Northern Virginia Center in Falls Church. Enjoy a day of hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations. This is a free event.

Spend the day with over 25 local brewers at LoCo Hanger Fest 2018. Sample 50+ beers including limited edition brews at this indoor beer festival. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door.
