Northern Virginia Restaurant Week continues through the weekend, ending on March 27. It’s a great opportunity to try out a new restaurant at a bargain price.
The City of Fairfax’s Bonita Lestina Performance series presents Ensemble Gaudior Clarinet, Fortepiano, and Viola Antique Instruments. The performance begins 8pm Friday at Old Town Hall.
The Best of the Region Art Show Reception is Friday from 6pm to 8pm at The City Hall gallery in Manassas. You can meet the artists and vote for your favorite work. The Art Show will run through April 7.
The Manassas Museum is holding an "Everything is New Here" Prince William-Manassas History Symposium. The cost is $10 for the all-day symposium on March 25 and $50 for historic homes tour on March 26. Spaces are limited and reservations are required. The Annual Craftsmen’s Spring Classic Art and Craft Festival runs Friday through Sunday at the Dulles Expo & Conference Center. The festival features original works from artist and craftspeople from across the country. Admission is $8 for adults, $1 for kids aged 6-12, and under 6 free.
It’s Family Fun Saturday at the Reston Town Center. There will be mini-train rides, caricature and balloon artists, and free sweet tweets. This is a free event, but donations will be accepted for the new RestON initiative.
Are you curious if your family heirloom is valuable? The City of Fairfax Young at Heart Senior Center is sponsoring its annual Hidden Treasures Appraisal Event at the Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center this Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm. Admission is $5 per person and $5 per item with a 4 item limit.
