Warm weather is finally here and with it comes the start of festival season in Northern Virginia. This weekend there is a festival for everyone ranging from pet owners to wine enthusiast. Hopefully the weather reports are wrong and we’ll get some rain free skies!
36th Annual Herndon Festival – Historic Downtown Herndon, VA – June 2-5. Enjoy live entertainment, carnival rides, fireworks, arts and crafts, food vendors and much more at this extremely popular event. Admission is free, but a $5 minimum ticket purchase is required to enter the carnival.
Great Falls Art Fest on the Green, Great Falls, VA – June 3-5. View local artwork of various mediums and meet the artists who created it.
22nd Annual Manassas Heritage Railway Festival, Manassas, VA – June 4
th 10am – 3pm. Celebrate the rich railroad history of Manassas with live music, train memorabilia, and more. Train excursions to Clifton and back can also be purchased. Admission is free.
Vintage Virginia Wine and Food Festival, Centreville, VA – June 4-5. Sample wines from Virginia’s wineries. Buy by the bottle or case to take home and enjoy all summer. Onsite ticket purchases are cash only. See website for ticket options.
Springfield Days PetFest, South Run RECenter, Springfield, VA – June 4
th 9am – 3pm. Enjoy a day of pet focused activities for people and their leashed pets. There will be pet focused vendors, photos, a pet psychic and much more!
Occoquan Spring Arts & Crafts Show, Occoquan, VA – June 4-5. A family friendly arts & crafts show featuring over 300 crafters from around the country. There will be free entertainment and a Kid’s Corner.
