Happy November! Here’s a look at what’s happening throughout the region this weekend.

Art on Tap is back at The Art League in Alexandria. Enjoy craft beer, original artwork, and food this Friday from 7 to 10 pm. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased in advance online.

The merchants of Historic Downtown Manassas will showcase art from various local and featured artist at the Fall Gallery Walk Friday from 6 to 9pm. The streets will be closed the Sip and Shop ABC permit will be in effect. This is a free event.

George Washington’s Mt. Vernon Estate will be demonstrating a mock fox hunt, cavalry demonstrations and more during the Horses & Hounds event. Cost is included with the price of general admission.

Show your support for our veterans and their families at the annual Northern Virginia Veterans Parade in Historic Downtown Manassas. The parade starts at 11 at the intersection of Prescott Ave. and Quarry Rd. and end at 12:30 pm. Head over to the Manassas Museum after the parade to view the flag display on the lawn.

Many of the area’s Fall Festivals have shut down for the season, but the following are running through this weekend, so it’s not too late if you haven’t had a chance to go:

  • Cox Farms, Centreville, VA – Fall Festival. Opening weekend September 14-15, then daily September 21 through November 5, 2019. Admission prices vary and is higher on peak days.
  • Ticonderoga Farm Fall Festival – Chantilly, VA. Open daily through November 4, 2019. Admission $10.95 weekdays, $17.95 weekends.
  • Reston Farm Market Fall Festival – Reston, VA. Open daily through November 5, 2019. Admission $10 per person weekdays, $15 per person weekends.  2 and under are free.
