Here’s a look at what’s happening this weekend throughout the area. Good luck to everyone running in the Marine Corp Marathon on Sunday!

The Middleburg Film Festival is all weekend in Loudon County. See the website for films and pricing.

The Craftsmen's Classic Arts and Craft Festival is all weekend at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly. Hundreds of artisans will display their original works during this 3-day craft show. Tickets are $8 per adult, $1 ages 6-12, under 6 are free.

The Great Falls Studios Art Show is Friday through Sunday from 10am to 5pm. This is a free, self-guided tour of the local artist’s studios.

The Loudon County Farm Tour is Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. This is a free, self-guided tour of participating farms in Loudon County. Many of the farms will offer food, drinks and products for purchase.

It’s Fall Harvest Family Days at George Washington’s Mt. Vernon Estate in Alexandria. Experience an 18th century style fall harvest, take a horse drawn wagon ride, and even meet George Washington. This event is included in the cost of regular admission to the estate.

If you’re looking for something spooky to do, Spirits of Rippon Landing is a candlelit ghost tour of the house and grounds Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9pm. The cost is $10/person, and reservations are recommended.

The Fall Heritage Festival is this Saturday from 1 to 5pm at the Gulf Branch Nature Center and Park in Arlington. This annual event celebrates the nation’s heritage with old fashioned games and crafts. The cost is $5 per person.

Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly is holding its annual Halloween Air and Scare this Saturday from 12 to 5pm. There will be crafts, experiments, and kids can wear their costumes for trick-or-treating. This event is free, but parking is $15.

Sunday’s Free Book Talk at the Manassas Museum will feature author Larry Aaron who will discuss his book, “The Wreck of the Old 97." The talk will begin at 1:30.
