Here’s a look at what’s happening in our area this weekend.
The
Fall Gallery Walk is Friday evening from 6-9pm in Historic Downtown Manassas. Local merchants will display their artwork. This is a free event.
The Art League of Old Town Alexandria presents
Art on Tap Friday from 7-10pm. Local breweries have paired their craft beers with art work. Using the beer and art for inspiration, local restaurants have created appetizers to perfectly match the brew/artwork pairing. Live music will be provided by The Sea Life and Go Cozy. Tickets are $45 and include a commemorative tasting glass. This is a 21 and older event.
This is the last weekend that
Cox Farms Fall Festival is open and keeping with their annual tradition, its Pumpkin Madness weekend! Bring your used jack-o-lanterns and they will drop, squish, smash, or stomp them. Pumpkin Madness is Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm. Tickets are $15 per person, kids under 2 are free.
You are in luck if you didn’t get enough Oktoberfest. Rustico Restaurant and Bar in Old Town Alexandria is celebrating
Novemberfest this Saturday from 12-5pm. Sample over 70 local craft beers and ciders, hearty food options will be provided by Rustico, and wine lovers can enjoy sampling wine from Virginia’s Barboursville Vineyards. Live entertainment will be provided by local bluegrass favorites and games and activities will keep family members of all ages entertained. This is a family friendly event. Admission is $10, kids under 14 are free. Tickets are required for food and drink purchases and are $1 per ticket.
