Here’s a look at what’s happening in our area this weekend.

It’s Civil War Day at Historic Blenheim House in Fairfax this Saturday from 10am to 5pm. There will be special tours, living history presenters and displays, live music, wagon rides and more. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children aged 3-12, 2 and under are free.

Ben Lomand Historic Site is hosting a special The Deadliest Enemy: Disease in the Civil War tour of its field hospital. Cost is $5/person, kids 6 and under are free.

It’s Arlington Palooza this Saturday at Alcova Heights Park from 1pm – 4pm. This free event will feature live music, crafts, kid’s activities, and food trucks.

SpringFest Fairfax will be at Sully Historic Site Saturday from 10am – 4pm. This free event will feature environmental and health-focused family friendly activities.

The Beau Soir Ensemble will be performing at the Sherwood Center Saturday at 8pm as part of the 27th Annual Bonita Lestina Performance Series. This is a free concert.

The Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory in Manassas is having an International Jazz Celebration Saturday evening from 7pm – 10pm. Admission is $45/person.

There are Touch-A-Truck events in Sterling and Burke this weekend. The Virginia Touch-A-Truck event is at Dominion High School on Saturday from 10am – 3pm. Cost is $5/person, under 12 months are free. The Spring-Mar Touch-A-Truck event is Saturday from 10am -2pm at Lake Braddock Secondary School. Cost is $5/person, kids under 2 are free.

Author James Gindlesperger will be discussing his latest book, “Arlington: A Color Guide to America’s Most Famous Cemetery” at Sunday’s free Book Talk at the Manassas Museum. The discussion starts at 1:30pm.
